Dear New Member:
First Lady Ethel M. Foster and I welcome you to the congregation of Greater Grace Worship Center. We are so pleased that God called you to this church, a church that is filled with wonderful people who love the Lord Jesus Christ. It is of the utmost importance that you have a relationship with God. Several very important ingredients are prayer, church and Sunday school attendance, daily Bible reading, involvement in church activities and fellowship. Our members develop a close walk with God by setting aside time in their busy schedules to get involved in these activities and ministries. Our Church family looks forward to you and your family adding to God’s work at your new home.

We are committed to your success and our commitment has driven us to preparation to serve you. We have implemented several programs to help you adjust to your new church environment, one of which is our New Members’ Class. We also have the Pastoral Care Ministry. This ministry was born from a desire to give total care to the total church. “Care Ministers,” help us care for people effectively and carry the ideals and vision of our assembly. Your Care Minister will be contacting you in the near future.

As a new member you can expect a few things from us. We are here for you and we want you to be happily fulfilled. We will do our best to serve you. As friends, we want you to draw close to God. As a pastor, I will preach to you about your life, decisions, and your direction to the things of God. We believe you are valuable. We believe you are important. We plan each service, activity, program and year with each person in mind. Our Church slogan is “We Grow: Spiritually – Linking people to God; Relationally – Linking people to people; Strategically – Linking people to needs.”
In Christ’s Service,

Bishop David C. Foster, Sr., Pastor

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The Women of Grace encourages women for service in ministry to edify the body of Christ.  We learn and grow from God’s word and from sharing life experiences to become stronger witnesses for God. We focus on helping women develop a closer relationship with Christ and commit to serving the church and the community to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Our mission is to use drama and illustration to show real life situations and biblical reenactments through skits and live stage productions.

MEDIA MINISTRY

The Media Ministry’s mission is to give the in- church congregation, television and internet viewers the best quality imagery by capturing every situation possible during our live services. We offer DVDs and CD’s for their listing pleasure.

The puppet team exists to present God’s Word in a creative and fun manner; to help make the Word of God easy to understand for all ages; to help kids engage and enjoy praising God; to increase memorization of Bible verses, Bible stories, & praise songs; and to spread the message of Jesus Christ to our surrounding community.

PRAISE DANCE MINISTRY

We aim to offer our temples as living sacrifices through a form of praise, worship and God’s message through dance in the Holy Ghost.

BEREAN MINISTRIES (CHRISTIAN EDUCATION)

We are an in-reach position that serves Greater Grace Worship Center (GGWC) by reaching the congregation with phone calls and in person contact. Caregivers provide prayer, encouragement, and a listening ear to those not connected to an auxiliary or ministry. We also reach out to the sick & shut-in with phone calls and cards. Finally, we encourage our new members to complete the new member’s class and become acclimated to GGWC. As a new member, your Pastoral Care Caregiver, if not already done, will be reaching out to you soon.  Need to know who the caregiver is for your area? Contact the church office – 916-395-0179
