Dear New Member:

First Lady Ethel M. Foster and I welcome you to the congregation of Greater Grace Worship Center. We are so pleased that God called you to this church, a church that is filled with wonderful people who love the Lord Jesus Christ. It is of the utmost importance that you have a relationship with God. Several very important ingredients are prayer, church and Sunday school attendance, daily Bible reading, involvement in church activities and fellowship. Our members develop a close walk with God by setting aside time in their busy schedules to get involved in these activities and ministries. Our Church family looks forward to you and your family adding to God’s work at your new home.

We are committed to your success and our commitment has driven us to preparation to serve you. We have implemented several programs to help you adjust to your new church environment, one of which is our New Members’ Class. We also have the Pastoral Care Ministry. This ministry was born from a desire to give total care to the total church. “Care Ministers,” help us care for people effectively and carry the ideals and vision of our assembly. Your Care Minister will be contacting you in the near future.

As a new member you can expect a few things from us. We are here for you and we want you to be happily fulfilled. We will do our best to serve you. As friends, we want you to draw close to God. As a pastor, I will preach to you about your life, decisions, and your direction to the things of God. We believe you are valuable. We believe you are important. We plan each service, activity, program and year with each person in mind. Our Church slogan is “We Grow: Spiritually – Linking people to God; Relationally – Linking people to people; Strategically – Linking people to needs.”

In Christ’s Service,

Bishop David C. Foster, Sr., Pastor
